An excursion to Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent was organized for pupils of School #196.

Recently pupils from School #196 have visited our university. These pupils, led by school teachers, witnessed the building of our university, its conditions and, of course, how the teaching process is conducted. We hope that this has increased their interest to our university. Not surprisingly, if during the campus trip, the pupils set themselves the goal of becoming a student of Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent in the future. We wish them good luck and success in achieving their goals and the privilege of being a student.

The online conversation took place on the topic “Protecting women from oppression and violence and the essence of gender policy”.

At Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent, via ZOOM platform, the round table was held on the topic “Protection of women from oppression and violence and the essence of gender policy”.

The guest of the round table was the national expert on gender issues of the United Nations Population Fund, trainer-consultant of the program “Gender and Gender Violence” of the Center for Support of Civil Initiatives, a psychologist with 20 years of experience in the field of violence, as well as qualifications in Russia and Turkey Mrs. Irmatova V. and the senior inspector of the Almazar DDIA, Lieutenant Colonel Matchanova O.

During the conversation, the issue of relationships, oppression and violence against women was raised, which has become an urgent problem today. In addition, a number of measures taken and normative documents recently introduced aimed at preventing violence in the country were highlighted.

“Girls’ Creativity Evening” was held at TTPU.

One of the issues highlighted by our President is the measures and programs aimed at improving the skills of women and providing them with jobs. It is safe to say that this is one of the important goals we have set for ourselves now.

A good example of this is the creative evening held at Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent by the university Women’s Council. During the creative evening, the students of our University and the academic lyceum under TTPU demonstrated their talents at a high level. The girls performed poems, music and songs, as as well as presented their handmade beadworks and photographs in exhibition.

The senior teacher of the P. Benkov School of Arts, who was invited as a guest to the event, demonstrated a master class on fabric dyeing with her talented students, which revealed another hidden talent of our girls.




The concert program “The Constitution – encyclopedia of our happiness” was held at TTPU.

The concert program “The Constitution – encyclopedia of our happiness” dedicated to the Constitution Day of the Republic of Uzbekistan was held at Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent on 9 December. The concert began with the sounds of our great anthem. The video, which reflected our past, present and, of course, our bright future, impressed everyone. Songs and dances performed alive by our students invited also the guests gathered in the hall to dance.

Pittsburgh State University and Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent have developed a “2 + 2” program.

Live video conference with the admission committee from Pittsburgh State University was held this Monday at TTPU’s blue hall where students learned of new opportunities of 2+2 program.

The “2+2” program with the U.S. university is something new and promising. A cohort of TTPU students may transfer their credit hours to Pittsburg State University, thanks to the 2+2 program.

Moreover, according to a Pittsburg State University representative, PSU students will have an opportunity to work in  U.S. companies after graduating from the university.

“Foreign students can work in American companies during 3 years with a student visa after getting their diploma. “Job fair” is held in Pittsburg University every year. About 200 local companies take the students to their company after signing contract with them who have graduated with honors,” says the university representative.

According to Dr. Jamshid Inoyatkhodjayev, a rector of Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent, students will become leading specialists in the field of mechanical engineering, training and retraining their skills and experience in prestigious universities in the United States. 

Dr. Jamshid Inoyatkhodjayev says that this project has been developed on the basis of the partnership memorandum signed between Pittsburg State University and Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent in May 2018. 

“Our student can continue their study in the United States after completing the second course now.  This is our great achievement. Because we hope our students will add their contribution to the development of mechanical engineering in Uzbekistan in the future with improving their knowledge and skills in the field of mechanical engineering,” says Dr. Inoyatkhodjayev.

Our Students are the winners of the TECHNOWAYS marathon!

On the 6th of October of this year, the closing ceremony of the TECHNOWAYS Technological Development Marathon organized by the Scientific and Practical Center for the Implementation of Innovative Developments under the Ministry of Innovative Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan was held.

There were four teams participated from the side of Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent, two of them based on the results of the competition were found the winners. In particular, the Nova Robotics team, who created the assistant robot, received a cash prize in the amount of 20,000,000 sums, and the Neuron Engineering team, who developed the Enor-3 compact high-speed electric car, received a cash prize of 15,000,000 sums.

Cooperation of Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent (TPUT) and Cambridge International College (CIC)

Today, on the 24th of August 2020, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent (TPUT) and Cambridge International College (CIC).

The purpose of the agreement is the joint development of the spheres like education, entrepreneurship and creation of an ecosystem for supporting the talented youth and perspective start-up projects.

The main areas of cooperation are:

1. Organization of practice works and internships for the university students in the branches of the college, jointly training and preparing qualified specialists;

2. Establishment of scientific cooperation;

3. Joint opening of preparatory courses for admission to TPUT;

4. Organization of guest lectures and master classes;

5. Organization of joint promotional campaigns on information platforms;

6. Holding forums, seminars, conferences and briefings;

7. Joint implementation of the practice of “Problem-based education”.

In addition, in accordance with a bilateral agreement, qualified university professors will conduct master classes for college students and help them in obtaining the International Foundation Level Certificate. Students with this certificate will be able to continue their studies at TTPU, starting from the second year course.

We hope that the joint activities of the Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent (TPUT) and the Cambridge International College in Tashkent (CIC) will bring great opportunities to both parties, and will also become a big step in the development of areas of mutual cooperation.




Administration and students are for the “golden” student period!

On July 21 of this year, an online conversation on the platform Zoom was held between the administration and activists of the students’ union of Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent.

This conference was attended by Acting Rector Inoyatkhodzhaev J.Sh, Vice-Rector on Working with Youth Ashurov A.A., Head of the Department on Working with Youth Allamova G.A., Press Secretary Ibrokhimzoda N.B and activists of the students’ union, who spoke on behalf of university students.

During the conversation, issues related to the learnig process of students, equipment and furnishing of the office of creativity and art, as well as the holding of certain talent contests during the summer holidays and development of a system for students’ encauragement regarded to their academic and non-academic achievements during the period of study.

All the questions and projects discussed are expected to be implemented soon. We hope that the joint work of the university administration and students will be a great start in organizing an unforgettable “golden” student period at the university.




The ceremony for the appointment of rectors

On July 4 of this year, according to the decree of the government of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated 03.07.2020 № 420, the ceremony of appointing rectors of 2 higher educational institutions (the University of Ajou and Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent) was held at Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent.

The event was attended by state adviser of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abduvohidov A. A., Minister of Higher and secondary special education of Uzbekistan. I. U. Majidov, first Deputy Minister of higher and secondary special education of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Salomov U. R., Deputy Minister for financial and accounting and reporting Buzrukhonov S. M. and representatives of universities.

During the ceremony, Muratov Ayrat Azatovich was adopted as the rector of Ajou University in Tashkent, and Inoyatkhodjaev Jamshid Shukhratullayevich was adopted as the acting rector of Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent.




A new MBA program is going to be established in Uzbekistan

Putra Business School, Malaysia and Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent have reached an agreement to implement MBA program in the process of education.

The MBA (Master of Business Administration) program is designed to train technical university graduates and professionals currently performing their activity in the field of engineering, entrepreneurs and people interested in professional growth, leadership development, strategic thinking, as well as searching for a qualitatively new stage of the development in the future.

Putra Business School is accredited by the US Accreditation Agency AACSB.

Putra Business School is a school under the authority of University Putra Malaysia (UPM). According to QS World Universities Ranking, University Putra Malaysia ranks the 132nd place.




Collaboration in the development and improvement of educational programs and scientific research

On 29th of June of this year, Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent (TPUT) and the Center for the Study of Industrial Markets and Labor Efficiency in Production under the Ministry of Economic Development and Poverty Reduction of the Republic of Uzbekistan came to an agreement on cooperation based on mutual interests in developing and supporting the education of young scientists, improving educational programs, research and innovation.

The purpose of the partnership is to establish mutually beneficial cooperation between the parties in the field of education, science, innovation, increasing labor productivity, developing and implementing high-tech projects, marketing new technologies and creating modern high-tech industries.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the possibilities of partnership and identified general areas of cooperation.We hope that the joint activities of the parties will be a big step in the development and improvement of educational programs and scientific research.

Visit of representatives of the Military Institute of Information and Communication Technologies and Communications

On the 13th of February of this year, representatives of the Military Institute of Information and Communication Technologies and Communications of the Ministry of Defense of the Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Mohammed al-Khwarizmi visited Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent. During the visit, a meeting of representatives with 3rd year university students was organized.

The introductory speech was started by the rector of the University, Salomov U., introducing the representatives to students and the purpose of their visit, which was informing students about the opening of a special faculty at the Tashkent University of Information Technology named after Mohammed al-Khwarizmi – the Military Institute of Information and Communication Technologies and Communications of the Ministry of Defense.

The next speech was given to the rector of the Military Institute of Information and Communication Technologies and Communications of the Ministry of Defense, Lieutenant Mukhitdinov H.A. and the heads of the departments Lieutenant Tashtaev Z.D. and Nurmetov B.V. They informed students about the possibility of entering and transferring to their institute after completing a 3-year course and receiving two-year tactical training in the rank of officers in six areas, and also presented information about amenities, faculties and employment after graduation.

After the presentation, interested students had the opportunity to receive answers to their questions about admission and entrance exams.




International project on modernization of the faculty “Mechatronics and Robotics”

In order to improve the quality of educational and scientific work, learning and apply the experience of foreign countries, in particular European countries, in the educational process, Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent carries out many actions.

The international project “MechaUZ: Modernization of the faculty “Mechatronics and Robotics” for Bachelor degree in Uzbekistan through Innovative Ideas and Digital Technology” is also an activity carried out by the university in accordance with the grant agreement 609564-EPP-1-2019-1-EL-EPPKA2-SBHE-JP of the European Union program Erasmus +.

The project for preparing a high qualified personnel in the bachelor’s degree faculty “Mechatronics and Robotics” of higher educational institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the basis of modern requirements and proposals, a modernized training program, equipped with modern material and technical equipment and educational laboratories, is planned for 2020-2022.

On February 10-14 of this year in the city of Thessaloniki (Greece) at the international faculty of the University of Sheffield the first meeting of the partners of the Kick-off Meeting project was organized. The participants in this event were representatives of 6 universities in Uzbekistan, 6 universities in Europe and the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education.

As a result of the meeting, it was discussed issues on the preparation of the project and the analysis of academic programs of education in developed countries on the Mechatronics and Robotics direction, on the development of a new undergraduate program, on the creation of new courses and the organization of trainings for teachers, employees and engineers of Uzbekistan, as well as it was discussed and decided new tasks of the project and the time of the next meetings to implement them.
