29 Nov A poetic evening “Flower of Creativity”


Literature is one of the main types of art – the art of the word. These are any works of fiction, works of human thought enshrined in a written word and having public significance. Nowadays every educational institution is engaged in reforming the interests of youth in literature.
In honor of the 110th birthday of the famous poet and public figure Hamid Olimjon and the 80th birthday of the poet Alexander Feinberg, a poetic evening called “Flower of Creativity” was held at the Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent. The event was opened by Vice-Rector on Working with Youth A. Ashurov. The event was attended by a member of the Union of Writers of Uzbekistan, a national poet of Karakalpakstan, a translator R. Musurmon, a member of the Union of Writers of Uzbekistan, the head of the literary reach department F. Khudoykulova, a member of the poetry circle “Mother”, a young poet D. Erboeva, professors and teachers of the National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo-Ulugbek and Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent, university students and students of the academic lyceum at the university.
The event began with presentations about the life and work of poets. After the presentations, students read the poems of writers.
Then, the word was given to the national poet of Karakalpakstan R. Musurman. He expressed his opinion on the works of poets and read several poems. R. Musurman spoke about his pleasant memories during working with Alexander Feinberg and his impressions when translating his poems into Uzbek.
The head of the literary and educational department F. Khudoykulova and a member of the poetic circle D. Erboeva began their speech with poetic lines about love, Motherland and mothers and emphasized the beauty of writing each line of the writers’ work.
During a poetic evening, students showed great interest in the works of these two great figures of literature, and each of them had an opportunity to tell one of his favorite poems. Students also had a desire to deliver verses by great poets like Alisher Navoi, Zulfiya, Erkin Vohidov and Muhammad Yusuf. The evening allowed all participants to plunge into the world of beauty.
At the end of the event, all active participants were awarded with certificates of honor and books of Uzbek and world literature.
