The degree program, designed for a limited number of students, adopts the learning by doing and learning by thinking methodologies. Laboratory activities and project activities, including three internship periods carried out in the company, cover a large part of the degree program.

The first training step is a consolidation of the knowledge of mathematics, chemistry, physics and economics in order to provide foundations for the development of professional skills.

The second training step consists of activities aimed at providing the technical skills to operate in Industry 4.0 companies, where digital technologies, advanced automation and the Lean philosophy play a fundamental role for competitiveness.

The last step of the degree program involves the specialization of skills through a series of laboratories and projects that can be focused on a technology area or on a production sector.
