Before joining TTPU in 2009 Dilshat Tulyaganov have served as a scientific research employer, assistant, associate professor, and laboratory head in Uzbekistan’s High School and Research Institutions throughout the years. International experience have been gained as professor-investigator at CINVESTAV-IPN Unidad Saltillo, Mexico (1999-2000), as well as senior researcher at the University of Aveiro, Portugal during several years. He has published over 120 scientific papers in international SCI journals, including 3 reviews and co-authored 30 papers in the other refereed journals and volumes, 3 books and 7 patents in the field of material science and engineering, resulted therefore in an h-index of 30. He co-supervised 4 PhD dissertations in the area of bioactive glasses, high temperature sealants and high strength lithium disilicate glass-ceramics in close collaboration with prof. J.M.F. Ferreira at the University of Aveiro, Portugal: A.Goel, H.R.Fernandes, A.A. Reddy and I.Kansal have successfully completed their PhD theses in 2010, 2012 , 2014 and 2015, respectively. Earlier, in 1992 D.Tulyaganov co-supervised PhD thesis of R.Tairov on development of glass-ceramic materials in diopside-anorthite system.
