According to the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan foreign citizens and stateless persons can enter Uzbekistan or travel through its territory for transit on the basis of entrance visas only.

Foreign citizens and stateless persons can get visas at the diplomatic representations and consular missions of the Republic of Uzbekistan abroad on the basis of the visa support (confirmation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan).

Visa support is issued on the basis of application of the inviting organization, company and persons who are permanently or temporarily residing in Uzbekistan and submitted to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

 

List of required documents from foreign citizens for visa support receiving:

 

1) Copy of passport

2) Employment Certificate

3) E-form from evisa.mfa.uz

 

Received approval from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, a foreign citizen can obtain a visa at the appropriate representative office (embassy, consulate) of the Republic of Uzbekistan abroad.

 

Upon arrival in the Republic of Uzbekistan, professor/student/guest are required to undergo temporary registration at the place of residence or register at the hotel within 72 hours from the moment of entry into the country.

Each professor/student/guest who has arrived in Uzbekistan is obliged to transfer the following documents to the University Administration (Room # 503 of the Administrative Building) within 2 (two) days for registration at the TPU-Tashkent residence:

  • original passport
  • 3 (three) photos 3x4

If it is necessary to extend a visa on the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan, you must provide a passport to the University Administration (Room #503 of the Administrative Building) 2 (two) weeks before the registration ends. Each professor/student/guest during this period must be in the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
