TTPU Participates at First Uzbek-Hungarian Rectors’ Forum

Two finest Hungarian universities signed memorandum of understanding with TTPU at the first Forum of Rectors of Uzbekistan and Hungary that took place at Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers (TIIAME) on June 21 of 2021.

More than 70 Rectors of Uzbekistan’s national universities gathered in this first forum to meet their colleagues from Hungary’s universities and official representatives as well.

In his speech for the opening ceremony, Dr. Umurzakov Uktam Pardaevich welcomed the guests and his colleagues and expressed his best wishes on establishing a warm and productive relationship between two countries.

Dr. Orsolya Pacsay-Tomassich, State secretary for the Hungarian Diplomatic Academic and Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, said that “Stipendium Hungaricum” Program is an excellent opportunity for young and talented researchers of Uzbekistan.

At the final resolution, both sides expressed a number of key interests and among them are to establish bilateral cooperation in training highly qualified personnel, support the implementation of interinstitutional projects in the field of join programs and promote the practical implementation the avenues for complex interaction in the field of education and science.

At the end of the forum, all the participants unanimously voted for supporting the holding of the Second Hungarian-Uzbek Educational Forum in 2022 in Budapest.
