On November 3, presidential elections were held for the Students’ Union of the Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent

On November 3, presidential elections were held for the Students’ Union of the Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent.

Six candidates ran for the presidency from different courses. For several days, candidates talked and showed their ideas at a presentation attended by members of the university administration and students.

The voting revealed the following:
Mamatov Jaloliddin: 31.5%
Koriev Amirkhan: 18.4%
Azizov Abdujalil: 7.3%
Abdullaeva Layla: 16.7%
Hamraev Aziz: 2.3%
Jaloliddinov Zuhriddin: 22.8%

Voting was anonymous and the vote count was transparent. The commission consisted of students, administration and members of the student union. Out of 400 ballots, 95 were left and 7 were defective. A total of 297 students voted.
